Interns – An Untapped Source of Unlimited Help for Your Business
Interns – Remember them? Know about them? Well last I checked they are COLLEGE STUDENTS who major studies just happens to be the very business you own. I can see the light bulb go off in many of you Entrepreneurs heads right now and you’re probably licking your chops and drooling all over your keyboard and computer screen. STOP IT, chill out you Millennium Slave Drivers. This is a mutually beneficial relationship.
First off there is some spiritual, esoteric movement going on and I’m feeling the vibe. It’s about servicing others. Isn’t that why we are in business, to help make the world a better place for our clients and customers? A great many of us entrepreneurs are very caring and giving people and a lot of us think about all the things we have learned in our entrepreneurial journey and want to share and give this information to help others who are aspiring. Well, Hello. An intern is someone who is going to school to do exactly or something similar to what you are doing. They are going to learn firsthand exactly what it takes from you. Did you know that a great number of college students today are in school and have no desire to work for a company. In fact they plan to start there own business as soon as they walk across that stage. Some can’t wait that long before they start their businesses. Some of the the most successful businesses are started right in the college dormitory. Let me get to the point. Working for you they will learn about being an entrepreneur and you will school them along way.
By giving you receive. You are going to have a bright college student who will bring the things they are learning in school that has always worked and is working today for major companies. We as entrepreneurs sometimes act on gut and instinct a lot of the time, maybe too much. School teaches them to be more analytical and methodological. They work of trial and error. They guess less. They use some formulas and charts and other thingamajigs that give the most probable cause of success. Don’t knock it until you try it. We have to be open to what is happening around us. Lets face it these kids are knocking the ball out of the park these days. These youth are fearless and they have fresh untapped energy for days. Of course we wont just hand over the keys and take a vacation but they can bring a lot to the table.
Summer is right around the corner. Interns are submitting apps. for internships and I’d rather pay with a grade than some of this hard earned cash.
Lets help each other.
